Testing the new camera

I was a very lucky birthday girl this year and got a fabulous new little friend - a Nikon D7000!  Here are some photos from our first test run together :)

In Bloom

Despite the wind, it was a beautiful day out and I couldn't resist the opportunity to snag some photos of the blooms in our garden.

Love love love these tulips I planted in October!  Such a nice addition to the hundreds of bulbs already here.  Obsessed much? :)

First rose of the season, and it's on my favorite rose bush - the Sterling Silver!  Smells so good!

Roses are my favorite flower to photograph - so delicate and so unique!
